KLCI Futures Contracts Open Lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly lower during early trade on Tuesday. At 9.27 am, market activity showed a decrease in several key contracts.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the August 2026 contract slid two points to 1,726, and the September 2026 contract inched down one point to 1,706. Meanwhile, the December 2026 contract remained unchanged at 1,710, and the March 2027 contract saw no trading activity. The current turnover was recorded at 1,485 lots, with open interest standing at 41,753 contracts.

By 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI had decreased by 0.94 point to 1,724.79, compared to Monday's closing figure of 1,725.73.
