Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives concluded the trading session with a broad decline, aligning with the performance of the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the close of the session, April 2026 futures dropped 11.0 points to settle at 1,676. May 2026 futures saw a reduction of 11.5 points, closing at 1,677.5. June 2026 futures experienced a decrease of 10.5 points to reach 1,676.5, while September 2026 futures reduced by 13.5 points to end at 1,655.5.
Turnover for the day increased to 6,058 lots compared to 5,079 lots on Monday. Open interest also saw a rise, reaching 38,998 contracts from the previous day's 37,116 contracts. Meanwhile, the FBM KLCI index eased by 3.97 points to 1,676.86, down from Monday's close of 1,680.83.
