KSN Calls On Public, Private Sector Personnel To Work Together, Ensure Smooth 47th ASEAN Summit

Kuala lumpur: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar called on all public and private sector personnel involved in organising the 47th ASEAN Summit to work together to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the event.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Shamsul Azri stated that this is in line with the theme, 'Inclusivity and Sustainability', which symbolizes unity, well-being, prosperity, and the spirit of mutual respect among ASEAN member countries. He highlighted that Malaysia, as the host and Chair of ASEAN 2025, is fully prepared to welcome the arrival of world leaders and international delegations with only three days to go before the prestigious summit.

Shamsul Azri urged all officials from both the public and private sectors, as well as members of the security forces, medical teams, and Malaysians in general, to demonstrate friendliness, professionalism, and high moral values throughout the event. He emphasized that Malaysia's cultural richness and diversity would undoubtedly capture global attention, encouraging everyone to greet guests warmly and showcase Malaysia as truly exceptional.

The 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits are scheduled to take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from Oct 26 to 28. More than 30 heads of state and government will gather to discuss regional peace, economic resilience, and inclusive growth under the ASEAN-Malaysia Chairmanship 2025.
