MACC Chief Extends Raya Greetings, Urges Public To Reject Misconduct

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki and the entire MACC team extended Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to all Muslims in Malaysia. Azam conveyed his message through a video on the official MACC Malaysia TikTok account, sharing what Hari Raya means to him.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Azam expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate Syawal after a month of fasting. He emphasized that Hari Raya is a time not only for celebration but also for self-reflection and improvement. He highlighted that if Ramadan teaches sincerity and resilience, then Syawal should signify a new beginning, encouraging the public to have the courage to reject all forms of misconduct.

Azam urged the public to ensure that present mistakes do not jeopardize the future of their loved ones. He stressed that the good actions taken today are the greatest gift for future generations, reinforcing the importance of integrity and ethical behavior in society.
