Kuala lumpur: The Malaysia Open, a highly anticipated annual sporting event, will once again captivate fans as tickets go on sale for the 2026 tournament. Enthusiasts are eager to witness top-tier badminton players from around the globe compete at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil from January 6 to 11, 2026.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) has announced an Early Bird Promotion, allowing fans to purchase tickets at discounted rates starting at 2pm on November 3 through www.ticket2u.com.my. This promotion will be available until November 30, offering fans the opportunity to secure daily tickets or opt for season passes, which are priced between RM282 and RM2,000, depending on the category.
BAM anticipates a swift demand for tickets, echoing the rush seen in previous years, and encourages fans to purchase early to avoid missing out. Ticket prices remain consistent with this year's rates, demonstrating BAM's appreciation for the unwavering support from Malaysian fans.
BAM Secretary-General, Datuk Kenny Goh, stated, "Fans are advised to purchase their Malaysia Open tickets early and take advantage of the Early Bird Promotion. We've seen strong demand in past editions, with popular categories selling out quickly once sales open."
The national team will be led by world champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei, alongside former world champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, and this year's World Championship silver medallists Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah.
