Malaysian Fans Urged to Support Hakim Danish at Moto3 Home Debut

Sepang:Malaysian motorcycling fans are encouraged to attend the 2026 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix to support Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli in his Moto3 home debut at the Sepang International Circuit from October 30 to November 1.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, SIC CEO Azhan Shafriman Hanif praised Hakim Danish for his historic achievements this season, including podium finishes and a race victory. Azhan described these accomplishments as a proud moment for Malaysia.

Hakim Danish, a rider from Terengganu, achieved a third-place finish at the Italian Grand Prix on June 1 and won the Grand Prix of Czechia on June 22. Despite facing performance fluctuations, Azhan expressed confidence in the young rider's ability to regain form in the season's second half.

Ticket sales have been strong, with 80% of the 'Hakim Danish Tribune' and 'Premier Seat' categories already sold out. SIC aims for an attendance of 200,000 spectators and is offering free admission on October 30 to encourage early arrivals. Additionally, efforts will be made to maintain last year's parking rates.

This event marks Malaysia's 35th year in MotoGP since 1991, with Sepang as the venue since 1999.
