MATTA Fair 2025 Expected To Attract Over 210,000 Visitors, RM270 Mln In Sales

Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2025 from April 18-20 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur is expected to draw over 210,000 visitors. MATTA president Nigel Wong said the 56th edition of the international fair is also expected to generate more than RM270 million in sales.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Wong stated, "We are looking at about 500 booths, so it is very big." The focus will be on new domestic products, with participation from eight state tourism organisations. In addition to domestic offerings, the MATTA Fair will also feature products and services for outbound destinations.

Japan, Taiwan, India, China, and some South African countries will be taking part in the event as well. MATTA will also be organising the inaugural Business to Business (B2B) event named MATTA Connect, which aims to provide an opportunity for sellers from various countries to connect with local buyers to explore new international destinations and establish new business partnerships.

MATTA Connect will be held on April 17, 2025, at MITEC, a day before the MATTA Fair.
