Osaka: Maybank, MR DIY, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Watsons and ZUS Coffee were among the honoured winners at the 2025-2026 World Branding Awards held in Osaka. The event marked a significant occasion as it celebrated the success and achievements of leading brands across National, Regional, and Global categories. This year, the awards saw over 1,092 brands from 66 countries nominated as 'Brand of the Year', but fewer than 100 brands emerged victorious, showcasing the highest standards of excellence across the three tiers of recognition.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the World Branding Awards Ceremony made a significant move by hosting the event outside London for the first time. The Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts served as the venue, providing a fitting backdrop for the global celebration. Over 80 international guests attended the event, which was hosted by Allie Sakakibara. The ceremony was further enriched by a keynote speech from Miho Noguchi, who spoke on immersive brand experiences, highlighting the evolving landscape of branding on a global scale.
