Selayang: Nanning: Mayors, representatives, and experts from China and ASEAN countries have gathered in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to discuss urban openness and cooperation during a dialogue that opened Thursday. The event aims to foster discussions on strengthening urban partnerships and collaborative efforts between China and ASEAN cities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the dialogue, themed "Building a China-ASEAN Community of Friendship: Urban Openness and Cooperation," is hosted by the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The "Global Mayors Dialogue -- Nanning" has attracted attendees from several ASEAN countries, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. The event underscores the commitment of regional leaders to enhance urban connectivity and mutual development opportunities in the region.
