MCOM Holdings to Appeal Potential De-listing from LEAP Market

Kuala Lumpur: LEAP Market-listed MCOM Holdings Bhd has announced its intention to submit a written representation to Bursa Malaysia to justify why its securities should not be delisted. The company has been given a deadline of five market days to make this submission.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MCOM Holdings disclosed it received a notice from Bursa Securities regarding its failure to announce its annual audited financial statements, as well as the auditors' and directors' reports for the financial period that ended on June 30, 2024. These documents were due by October 31, 2024, as stipulated by Rule 6.13 of the LEAP Listing Requirements.

Bursa Securities has provided MCOM Holdings with five market days to articulate reasons why its securities should remain listed.

MCOM Holdings noted that if Bursa Securities decides on delisting, the company's securities will be removed from the official list of Bursa Securities seven market days following the notification of the de-listing decision, unless an appeal is filed within the designated timeframe.
