MetMalaysia Forecasts Hot Weather Spell from June 28 to July 1

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) anticipates a stretch of dry and hot weather across most of the country from June 28 to July 1. The announcement comes as the nation prepares for potentially sweltering conditions during this period.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's director-general, Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip, highlighted that analysis of weather models indicates the maximum temperature in several regions could soar to 35 degrees Celsius. This projection has prompted advisories for the public to limit outdoor activities to mitigate the risks associated with the intense heat.

Mohd Hisham urged the public to stay informed by frequently checking updates and advisories on the MetMalaysia website, official social media channels, and the myCuaca application. This ensures that residents have access to the most up-to-date and reliable weather information during this hot spell.
