The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a statement indicating that the severe weather conditions are likely to impact several regions, including Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Hilir Perak, and Batang Padang in Perak; Cameron Highlands in Pahang; and various areas in Johor, such as Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, similar weather warnings have been extended to parts of Sarawak, affecting Kuching (Lundu), Sarikei, Sibu (Kanowit and Selangau), Mukah (Tanjung Manis and Daro), Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Beluru, Miri, and Marudi), and Limbang (Limbang). In Sabah, the warning covers the Interior (Keningau and Tambunan) as well as the West Coast and Kudat (Kota Marudu and Kudat).
