Rawang: The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn. Bhd. (Perodua) have fortified their partnership to assist Malaysian automotive component vendors in accelerating the adoption of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. This initiative aims to equip these vendors to meet the increasing global sustainability requirements, thereby maintaining their competitiveness in international supply chains.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, approximately 50 Perodua vendors participated in an ESG Awareness Session held at Perodua Headquarters in Sungai Choh, Rawang. During the session, the vendors received practical guidance on implementing ESG practices, understanding emerging sustainability expectations, and accessing available government support.
