Gelang patah: The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (MOSTI) will cooperate fully with the authorities in the investigation into the police helicopter that crashed near Sungai Pulai, Gelang Patah this morning. The ministry stated that a detailed investigation is ongoing to identify the cause of the crash and emphasized its commitment to thoroughly studying all safety aspects.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MOSTI assured in a statement that it will provide full cooperation to the investigation and ensure all safety aspects are addressed comprehensively. The ministry highlighted the importance of understanding the factors that led to the incident to prevent future occurrences.

The statement also mentioned that the rescue team responded quickly at the crash site, saving the five helicopter crew members who are currently receiving medical treatment. The AS355 helicopter went down while executing a flypast during the MITSATOM 2025 exercise, which includes participation from four countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.
