MyNIISe Records 19.48 Million QR Transactions at Johor Entry Points

Johor bahru: A total of 19.48 million quick response (QR) code transactions via the National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIISe) were recorded at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) in Johor as of June 28, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a post on his official Facebook page, Saifuddin Nasution Ismail shared that the application has also seen 2.4 million downloads and 1.27 million registered users. This reflects a significant increase in the adoption of digital lanes for entry and exit at the country's two main entry points.

The minister highlighted the application as a solution to the previously reported congestion at the Johor Causeway, noting that the MyNIISe application is now more stable. The increased use of the QR facility signifies that more users are opting for the faster and more convenient digital lanes at BSI and KSAB.

The digital transformation facilitated by MyNIISe has also expanded to five major airports nationwide, with more than 5.59 million transactions recorded over the same period. Saifuddin Nasution emphasized that initiatives like MyNIISe will continue to be strengthened to enhance service delivery, simplify public affairs, and improve the efficiency of the country's immigration system.

He added that the MADANI government's approach focuses on performance and delivery, ensuring that reforms are not merely announced but translated into more efficient, faster services that provide tangible benefits directly to the people. MyNIISe is a key initiative under the government's reform agenda and is available for download via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
