Putrajaya: Police have yet to receive any report regarding threats made against the wife of Pandan MP Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli following an incident in which their young son was attacked by an individual at a shopping mall in Putrajaya yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar stated that police have taken note of the matter and will work to trace the phone number used to send the threatening messages. "As of this afternoon, no report has been lodged yet, though it may be filed later by him (Rafizi)," he said at a press conference today.

Earlier, at a press conference in the Parliament building, Rafizi disclosed that his wife received threats at 1.12 am and again at 11.02 am today. Both messages contained the warning "Be quiet, if you continue AIDS" along with a syringe emoji, originating from the same phone number.

Commenting on the boy's condition, Shazeli mentioned that the child is stable, and the hospital has taken blood samples to detect any possible complications arising from the incident. "So far, investigations at the scene have not recovered the syringe believed to have been used in the incident," he added.

In a statement yesterday, Rafizi confirmed that the victim was his son. He detailed that during the incident, two male suspects on a motorcycle, dressed in black and wearing helmets, had followed his wife's car. He said one of them suddenly grabbed his son and stabbed him with a syringe.
