Kuala Lumpur: Nominations for the 2025 PKR central leadership positions, including the Central Leadership Council (MPP), Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK), and Central Women, were initially planned for tomorrow until Sunday, but they have now been postponed to May 8-9.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the notice of the election postponement was signed by the Central Election Committee (JPP) chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa. It specifies that the nomination process will commence at 12 noon on May 8 and conclude at 11.59 pm on May 9.
The reason for the postponement was not mentioned in the notice uploaded today on the 2025 PKR Central Leadership Election Facebook page.
The notice further stated that any party intending to contest at the central level could submit their nomination form online. The media had earlier reported that the elections for MPP, AMK Central, and Central Women were scheduled for May 24.
