Kuala lumpur: OPPO today launched its latest A Series, the A7 Pro 5G and A7 Pro Max 5G, featuring artificial intelligence (AI)-powered imaging, enhanced battery capacity, and performance designed for long-term use. The series is built around a versatile 50-megapixel (MP) camera experience on both the front and rear.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, both models feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, making it effortless to capture portraits and group selfies. The AI Auto Wide Angle Switch automatically recognizes the number of subjects in the frame and transitions between 1x and 0.6x zoom.
The A7 Pro 5G also includes an upgraded half-inch Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) main sensor that absorbs 70 percent more light than the previous generation, while the A7 Pro Max 5G adds Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), AI Night Mode, and Image Optimisation.
Beyond photography, OPPO said the A7 Pro 5G is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX Mobile Platform, delivering roughly a 10 percent overall performance boost over the previous generation. Meanwhile, the A7 Pro Max 5G runs on the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, utilizing an advanced manufacturing process to achieve lower power consumption and superior thermal management.
Both devices incorporate OPPO's Adaptive Scheduling Architecture and Collaborative Memory Scheduling to optimize system resources and support fluid multitasking. They have passed OPPO's rigorous six-year smoothness testing.
For battery performance, OPPO noted that the A7 Pro 5G is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery, while the A7 Pro Max 5G features a 10,000mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge.
The A7 Pro 5G features a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the A7 Pro Max 5G comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED Ultra Bright display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models also offer up to IP69K water and dust resistance and military-grade shock resistance.
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G is available in Surfing Blue, Shine Titanium, and Bloom Pink, with prices starting from RM1,699 for the 6GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant is priced at RM1,899. Meanwhile, the A7 Pro Max 5G, available in Surfing Blue and Lunar Black, is priced at RM2,499 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM configuration. Both models are available through OPPO Malaysia's official and authorized distribution channels.
In conjunction with the nationwide launch, OPPO Malaysia is also offering a First Sale Promotion until Oct 31, 2026, with total savings of up to RM380, subject to availability.
