PH to Unveil Negeri Sembilan Polls Manifesto Tomorrow Night

Kuala lumpur: Pakatan Harapan (PH) will unveil its manifesto for the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election tomorrow night. Negeri Sembilan PH Operations director-general Datuk Muhammad Zaki Md Sabri announced that the manifesto is aimed at sustaining the development and prosperity achieved since PH assumed control of the state government in 2018.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the manifesto has been meticulously detailed by the party's top leadership to ensure that it delivers sustainable economic and social benefits for the people. Datuk Muhammad Zaki stated, "Insya-Allah, the manifesto will be launched tomorrow night. The PH secretariat will announce details on the venue and leadership attendance soon. The manifesto will emphasize the continuity of the state's success and progress as promised."

Commenting on the party machinery efforts, which have now entered the second day of campaigning, Muhammad Zaki expressed satisfaction with the smooth logistics operations and the positive support received by PH candidates from local voters. He also expressed hope that all contesting parties would maintain a healthy campaign momentum, avoiding excessive provocation and steering clear of sensitive issues related to religion, royalty, and race (3R).

The Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly was dissolved on June 5, and the Election Commission (EC) has set August 1 as the polling day, with early voting scheduled for July 28. There are a total of 889,490 registered voters eligible to cast their ballots in this election, comprising 867,151 ordinary voters, 16,884 military personnel and their spouses, and 5,455 police personnel as early voters.
