According to BERNAMA News Agency, PKNPk stated it was aware of several posts by a Facebook page that had recently been continuously publishing serious allegations against PKNPk and its management. The corporation expressed concern that the dissemination of allegations not based on verifiable facts could potentially damage its reputation and credibility, as well as undermine the confidence of investors, stakeholders, and the general public.

As a state-owned development agency, PKNPk emphasized its respect for the right of any party to voice opinions, provide views, and make criticisms through the appropriate channels, but cautioned against the abuse of such freedom.

The statement, posted on PKNPk's official Facebook page, highlighted that reports and complaints were lodged with the police and MCMC between July 30 and August 3 regarding the dissemination of these allegations. PKNPk also mentioned that it had sought legal advice and would take appropriate action to protect the organisation's interests, reputation, and integrity against any party that published or disseminated false or defamatory statements, or statements that violated the law.

PKNPk reiterated its commitment to fulfilling its mandate and responsibilities as the state's development agency, guided by the principles of integrity, accountability, and the interests of Perak.
