Melaka:Pentaksiran Kemasukan Sekolah Khusus (PKSK) and Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) examinations in Melaka will proceed as scheduled tomorrow, despite the closure of all schools in the state due to worsening air quality caused by haze.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Melaka State Education Department (JPN) has advised all examination candidates to check for further announcements and instructions on the department's official Facebook page regarding the implementation of both the assessment and examination.
The department emphasized that it will continue to monitor the situation, including the Air Pollutant Index (API) readings in the affected areas, and will provide official updates if there are any changes to the operations of educational institutions. Parents, guardians, examination candidates, and school administrators are urged to refer to the Melaka JPN's official channels for accurate and up-to-date information and to comply with all stipulated requirements.
The health and safety of students and education personnel remain a priority to ensure the smooth operation of educational institutions during this period of unhealthy weather.
