Kuala lumpur: Police are actively conducting investigations and efforts to track down a male Kelas al-Quran and Fardu Ain (KAFA) teacher who was reported missing after leaving his home at an apartment in Sungai Ara near here last Saturday. Southwest District Police Chief ACP Anuwal Ab Wahab said that the police are also examining any information being circulated regarding the case.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the public is advised not to make speculations or spread unverified information that could cause anxiety among the community. ACP Anuwal emphasized the importance of relying on verified information to aid the investigation. He also urged members of the public with information regarding the whereabouts of Mohamad Hijazi Zamry, 26, to contact the police at 04-8662222 or any nearby police station.

Mohamad Hijazi stands at 155 centimeters tall, weighs 54 kilograms, has a tuesian (langsat) complexion and black hair, and was last seen wearing an orange long-sleeved T-shirt and black long pants. His father, Zamri Saidin, 53, reported that Mohamad Hijazi was last seen leaving to perform the Isyak prayers at a surau near his home, after performing the Maghrib prayers in congregation with his family.

Zamri shared that Mohamad Hijazi was scheduled to solemnize his marriage on September 2, after being engaged for about a year, with all wedding preparations already made. The family is deeply concerned about his sudden disappearance and hopes for his safe return.

In a separate development, South Seberang Perai District Police Chief Supt Jay January Siowou stated that his department is tracking down Nik Nursyazwani Aishah Jefri Arwan Shah, 15, who was reported missing after allegedly leaving her home in Nibong Tebal since yesterday and failing to return until today. The police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the teenager.
