Property Dispute Believed To Be Motive Of Simpang Pulai Murder

Simpang pulai: A property dispute is believed to be the motive behind the murder of an elderly woman whose body was discovered in a car in Simpang Pulai.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Perak Police Chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin stated that investigations revealed the main suspect, who is still at large, was related to the victim but is believed to have fled abroad. "It was indeed motivated by (a dispute over) inheritance. All nine individuals detained earlier also were related," he informed reporters after an event at Padang Speedy.

Noor Hisam highlighted that the murder motive could only be confirmed after the suspect is arrested. He also noted that a police constable shot by the murder suspect is still receiving treatment at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh and is in stable condition.

Additionally, Noor Hisam mentioned that the police have yet to recover the constable's pistol, which was seized by the suspect during the incident.
