Kuala lumpur: The National Centre for Defence Studies (PUSPAHANAS) must continue to serve as a primary platform for shaping strategic thinking and producing defence leaders capable of addressing current and future security challenges. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin emphasized the growing importance of this role amid an increasingly complex global security environment.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamed Khaled expressed these views in a post on his official Facebook page after receiving a courtesy call from the new PUSPAHANAS president, Lt Gen Datuk Mahadzer Amin, at Wisma Pertahanan. He congratulated Mahadzer on assuming the leadership of the country's highest defence education institution last August.
Mohamed Khaled conveyed his confidence in Mahadzer's extensive experience in the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), which he believes will further fortify PUSPAHANAS's role as the nation's strategic defence education institution. He extended his best wishes to Mahadzer in fulfilling his duties.
