Kuala Lipis:Rantau Panjang MP Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff sustained injuries to her chest and abdomen following an accident on the Central Spine Road in Kechau Tui, Kuala Lipis.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the incident occurred around 6 pm as Siti Zailah and her 26-year-old daughter were traveling in a sports utility vehicle from Gua Musang, Kelantan, to Kuala Lumpur for work.

The local police chief, Supt Ismail Man, stated that the driver, Siti Zailah's daughter, is believed to have lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin and crash into a road barrier. Siti Zailah was subsequently taken to Kuala Lipis Hospital for treatment, while her daughter emerged uninjured.

Supt Ismail Man has called for any witnesses to the incident to come forward to aid in the investigation.
