Kota kinabalu: The Election Commission (EC) has announced an extension for the postal voting application deadline for the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election. The new deadline has been set for October 27.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the EC specified in a statement that the extension applies to postal vote applications for Category 1B, which includes Malaysian citizens residing overseas, and Category 1C, which covers various agencies and organizations. Eligible voters falling under these categories can submit their applications online through the official link provided by the EC.
