Kuala Lumpur:Malaysia SAIC Motor Malaysia Sdn Bhd is set to introduce the locally assembled MG ZS sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the market by the end of October. The company will offer two variants, the MG ZS 1.5 Turbo and the MG ZS Hybrid+.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the subsidiary of China's SAIC Motor Corp., Ltd., and the official distributor of MG vehicles in Malaysia, announced that the MG ZS 1.5 Turbo variant will be priced at RM105,000, while the MG ZS Hybrid+ will be available for RM115,000. These prices apply to Peninsula Malaysia and exclude insurance. Customers who book early can also benefit from additional booking incentives.

The MG ZS Hybrid+ is equipped with a dedicated hybrid powertrain and a 3-speed hybrid transmission. SAIC Motor Malaysia's managing director, Emory Qi, highlighted that these technologies provide a combination of performance, efficiency, and value.

The MG ZS comes in four colors Flare Red, Silver, Andes Grey, and York White. It features a premium all-black interior with perforated leatherette seats. The first 1,000 customers to place a booking by October 30, 2026, will receive exclusive benefits valued at RM3,000 and five years of complimentary maintenance.

Customers can make early bookings for both the MG ZS 1.5 Turbo and MG ZS Hybrid+ through the official MG Malaysia website. Additionally, the MG ZS Hybrid+ will be on display at Nexus Bangsar South from October 19 to 23.
