He further stated that road closures would also occur on Thursday for the main celebration, starting at 7:30 am and lasting approximately one hour.
Abang Zainal Abidin identified several roads affected by these closures and diversions. Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab (Medan Kid) will be diverted to Jalan St. John and Jalan SP Seenivasagam. Additionally, Jalan SP Seenivasagam will redirect traffic towards Medan Kid, while Jalan Raja Musa Aziz will be diverted to Jalan Kuala Kangsar. Traffic from Jalan Tun Abdul Razak will be rerouted to Jalan Raja Musa Aziz, and vehicles on Jalan Kuala Kangsar will be directed to Jalan Raja Musa Aziz.
Furthermore, Jalan Sultan Iskandar, coming from the direction of the MB (Menteri Besar) roundabout, will serve as the VVIP movement route. This road will operate in the opposite direction when entering Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, in front of significant landmarks such as the KTM station, State Mosque, and Perak Police Contingent headquarters.
He advised the public to plan their journeys carefully, adhere to signage and police instructions, and use alternative routes to minimize inconvenience during these events.
