Telok Ayer: Steak specialty restaurant "STEAK SUDAKU" has inaugurated its third store at Telok Ayer, marking its first franchise venture in Singapore. The new outlet is located at 3 Boon Tat Street, aiming to introduce the authentic taste of Omi beef to a broader audience in the region.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, General Omi Beef Trading Co., Ltd., a company renowned for its focus on Omi beef, is spearheading this expansion. The company exports Omi beef from Shiga Prefecture to Singapore, intending to enhance the Omi beef brand's presence through its subsidiary.

The franchise in Singapore is operated by OMIGYU TRADING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD., which is wholly owned by General Omi Beef Trading Co., Ltd. The head office of the parent company is located in Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture, under the leadership of CEO Takaoki Nishino. The opening of "STEAK SUDAKU" in Singapore on April 14, 2025, signifies a strategic move to capture a new market and introduce the rich flavors of Omi beef to local and international customers.
