Sultan of Brunei’s Health Update: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah in Stable Condition

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is currently under medical care at the National Heart Institute (IJN) after experiencing fatigue. The Sultan's condition is reported to be stable and satisfactory.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Prime Minister's Office released a statement indicating that His Majesty, accompanied by Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, remains under medical observation. The medical team has advised against any visitors for Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, except for members of the Brunei royal family, to facilitate a smooth recovery process.

The statement further revealed that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, visited the Sultan at IJN. In his message, Anwar urged all Malaysians to pray for the Sultan's health and well-being, expressing hopes for a swift recovery.

Recently, concerns arose due to the Sultan's absence from the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-China Summit. The Prime Minister confirmed that Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah is currently resting at IJN following his recent bout of fatigue.
