Kuala Lumpur: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has emphasized the importance of cleanliness for attracting more tourists to resort areas such as Cameron Highlands. His Royal Highness has specifically called on traders to ensure that cleanliness is prioritized.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Al-Sultan Abdullah highlighted that maintaining cleanliness is crucial and should be a focal point, with particular attention given to ensuring that all food sold is in good condition and free from contamination. He stressed the necessity for food to be covered and urged that surrounding areas, including the drains, are consistently cleaned. Additionally, he recommended providing sufficient dustbins to maintain hygiene in these areas.
His Royal Highness communicated these directives during a visit to the Kea Farm Bazaar in Cameron Highlands. During this visit, Al-Sultan Abdullah took the opportunity to engage with the people and traders, addressing their concerns and listening to their complaints at the popular tourist destination.
Furthermore, the Sultan interacted warmly with visitors, including foreign tourists, and graciously presented personal gifts to children, enhancing the community spirit and fostering goodwill among the attendees.
