Tenom: Tenom is the latest district in Sabah to be hit by floods as of 8 pm following continuous rain since yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Sabah disaster management committee secretariat reported that flood victims are being evacuated to relief centres in Tenom. The total number of evacuees in the state had decreased from 2,616 people earlier this evening to 1,564 evacuees at 11 centres.

The secretariat stated that there are currently 79 evacuees in Sook, 352 people in Sipitang, 395 people in Beaufort, and 211 people in Membakut.

A total of 140 villages in five districts are affected by the floods. Four districts - Membakut, Sipitang, Sook, and Beaufort - experienced flooding this morning.
