Terengganu: The Terengganu government today announced a bonus of RM500 for its civil servants.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the bonus to more than 14,000 state civil servants was announced by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar during the winding-up of debate on the 2026 Supply Bill at the sitting of the state legislative assembly here today.

"The state government has agreed to give a bonus of RM500 to Terengganu civil servants," he said, without detailing how and when the bonus would be disbursed.

Earlier, the 2026 Terengganu Budget, tabled on Monday, was unanimously approved.
