Terengganu: The director of Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) Terengganu, Nasrul Hadi Saiadin, passed away this evening, believed to be due to a heart attack.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Terengganu YADIM assistant director, Ali Azfar Khairul Faiz, when contacted, stated that Nasrul Hadi, aged 48, breathed his last at Tanah Merah Hospital, Kelantan, around 7.15 pm today. Earlier this evening, Nasrul Hadi fainted while in a car driven by his wife, prompting an urgent rush to the hospital.

The family was reportedly on their way back from a holiday in Nasrul Hadi's hometown in Kedah and was heading towards Besut at the time of the incident.

It has been learnt that the late Nasrul Hadi, originally from Kuala Nerang, Kedah, was scheduled to attend a programme at Perhentian Island tomorrow. His remains are currently at Tanah Merah Hospital, with burial details to be announced by his family at a later time.
