Padang besar: The Territorial Army Regiment is a strategic asset that plays a vital role in strengthening the nation's defence preparedness, said the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail. His Royal Highness, who is also Commander of the 504th Regiment of the Territorial Army, emphasized the importance of the Territorial Army's presence across the nation in fostering connections between the military and the public, while contributing professional expertise to multiple sectors.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Raja Muda highlighted that the expertise available in sectors such as cyber, logistics, medical, engineering, and technology serves as an essential force multiplier for the Malaysian Army. His remarks came after officiating the 46th Anniversary Parade of the 504th Territorial Army (AW) Regiment at Bukit Keteri Camp near Padang Besar. The event was attended by the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Honorary Major Tuanku Dr Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, and their daughter Hajah Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail.

A statement issued by Istana Arau today noted that the parade not only commemorated the regiment's history and struggles but also acted as a platform to enhance camaraderie, loyalty, and readiness among its personnel. The regiment is committed to improving the capabilities and readiness of its members, ensuring they are always prepared for deployment to safeguard the nation's security, sovereignty, and well-being.
