Kuala Lumpur:The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting Labuan and seven states until noon today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the warning highlights specific areas within these regions. In Kedah, Langkawi is impacted, while in Perak, the districts of Manjung, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Perak Tengah, Larut Matang, and Kerian are affected.

In Pahang, the warning encompasses Maran, Temerloh, Bentong, Bera, and Rompin. Selangor's affected area is Sabak Bernam. Meanwhile, the districts of Segamat, Tangkak, and Muar in Johor are under alert.

In Sarawak, the warning covers Tanjung Manis and Daro in Mukah, as well as Miri. Sabah is also experiencing adverse weather conditions in Tuaran, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Putatan, and Papar in the West Coast; Membakut, Beaufort, and Kuala Penyu in the Interior; and Kinabatangan in Sandakan.
