Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in three states, effective until 1 pm tomorrow.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia released a statement at 9 am highlighting that the adverse weather conditions are anticipated to impact several regions in Perak, including Manjung, Bagan Datuk, and Hilir Perak. The warning extends to Selangor, with Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor identified as areas of concern. In Sabah, the affected areas include Sandakan and Kudat, specifically Pitas and Kudat.

Residents in these regions are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions against potential hazards caused by the severe weather. The authorities urge the public to stay updated on the weather developments through official channels and heed any safety advisories issued by local emergency services.
