Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are anticipated across seven states and the entire Federal Territory of Labuan until 5 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia has issued a statement indicating that the adverse weather conditions are expected in specific regions of Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Johor. The affected areas in Perak include Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, and Batang Padang. In Kelantan, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, Pasir Puteh, Kuala Krai, and Gua Musang are likely to experience the severe weather.

The weather alert extends to Terengganu, affecting Besut, Setiu, Hulu Terengganu, Dungun, and Kemaman. In Pahang, the regions of Tanah Tinggi Cameron, Lipis, Jerantut, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin are expected to face similar conditions, along with Tangkak, Muar, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru in Johor.

In Sarawak, areas such as Sarikei (Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah, Kapit (Song, Kapit, and Bukit Mabong), Bintulu (Tatau and Sebauh), and Limbang are also projected to be impacted. Additionally, in Sabah, the regions comprising Pedalaman (Sipitang, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, and Tambunan) as well as the west coast areas are under the weather alert.
