Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds across four states and Labuan until 11 am today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's weather alert includes parts of Perak, specifically Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, and Hilir Perak. Additionally, Sabak Bernam in Selangor is under the same weather warning.

The alert also extends to Sarawak, covering regions such as Sri Aman, Betong (Pusa and Betong), Sarikei (Julau and Meradong), Sibu, Mukah (Daro, Matu, Dalat, and Mukah), and Kapit (Song). In Sabah, the interior area of Kuala Penyu is affected by the warning.
