Labuan: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to hit five Malaysian states and the Federal Territory of Labuan until 9 pm tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a statement today announcing that these weather conditions are anticipated to affect Terengganu, with specific areas including Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman, as well as Jerantut and Kuantan in Pahang.

The warning also extends to Kluang in Johor, and several areas in Sarawak such as Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah (Tanjung Manis), Kapit, Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan, and Marudi), and Limbang.

In Sabah, affected regions include the Interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Keningau, and Tambunan), the West Coast, and Kudat.
