Shortell, who previously served as Managing Director for Operations at the company, will now oversee both current and future facilities in the region, leveraging his expertise to enhance the company’s operational performance and growth.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, SuperFreeze Chairman Daniel Yun stated that operations are the backbone of the business and emphasized Troy’s proven track record and deep industry knowledge. This positions him perfectly to lead SuperFreeze to new heights. Yun expressed confidence that Shortell’s vision and expertise will ensure the company maintains the highest operational standards while driving growth across Asia.

A key highlight of Shortell’s tenure at SuperFreeze has been his instrumental role in opening the company’s first facility outside South Korea, located in Tuas, Singapore. This facility achieves a remarkable 93 percent capacity fill rate with perfect inventory accuracy and high velocity throughput. With over 30 years of experience in the cold storage and logistics industry, Shortell’s appointment as Co-CEO marks a significant milestone for SuperFreeze as it expands its footprint and reinforces its commitment to innovation and sustainability in cold chain solutions.
