PUCHONG: Two foreign nationals have been detained by police following the death of a woman who was discovered under suspicious circumstances at a hotel in Taman Mawar, Puchong. The woman, suspected to be in her 30s and a foreign national, was found unconscious and covered in blood, leading authorities to investigate the case as a potential murder.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Serdang district police chief ACP A. A. Anbalagan stated that the suspects, both aged 39, were apprehended in the early hours of the morning in the Bukit Puchong area. The arrests took place around 3 a.m., and the individuals have been remanded for six days, with their detention extending until January 6.
Police were alerted to the situation after receiving a call from a local man who reported the discovery of the woman. To ascertain the cause of death, a post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang.
