Johor bahru: UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) is expanding business opportunities for the Bumiputera community through its Kedai Kos Sederhana (KKS) UDA Vista initiative. UDA President and Chief Executive Officer Johari Shukri Jamil announced that the affordable commercial property development, introduced under the Johor State Housing Development Corporation (PKPJ) initiative, offers 62 business units at prices starting from RM200,000.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, each unit spans approximately 1,200 square feet, featuring a spacious and practical layout suitable for various business activities. The project, located in the strategic area of Bandar UDA Utama, was officially launched today, with applications now open via the Johor eRumah system. The launch was attended by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi during the Johor Property Expo 2025 (JPEX 2025) at Angsana Johor Bahru Mall.
Johari Shukri highlighted that the KKS UDA Vista initiative includes a low down payment scheme, with UDA covering the legal fees for the Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) and Loan Agreement documents. This initiative aims to provide buyers with greater access to high-value commercial property at reasonable prices.
He further explained that KKS UDA Vista has the potential to become a hub for Bumiputera entrepreneurship, driving the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This effort is expected to strengthen the local economy and stimulate property sector development, particularly in the rapidly growing region of Johor.
As an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP), UDA remains committed to expanding Bumiputera property ownership and offering strategic business spaces at affordable prices. Besides KKS UDA Vista, UDA offers a range of properties, including single-storey terrace houses, townhouses, shop-offices, semi-detached homes, bungalows, and serviced apartments, starting from RM288,054 for the 2025-2026 period.
Johari Shukri noted that the properties are designed to meet the needs of youth, families, entrepreneurs, and investors, with concepts tailored to all societal segments. Meanwhile, UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Ismail Dasuki announced a special three-day sales package in conjunction with JPEX 2025, encouraging Johoreans to explore these property offerings at the UDA booth.
