Kuala lumpur: FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened easier on Friday. At 9.23 am, the spot month July 2025 slid 7.5 points to 1,529.5, August 2025 reduced by 6.5 points to 1,527.5, September 2025 was 7.0 points lower at 1,508.5, and December 2025 trimmed 5.0 points to 1,511.0.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover increased to 2,372 lots, with open interest at 38,292 contracts. At 9.45 am, the FBM KLCI slipped by 9.23 points to 1,531.09 after closing at an intra-day high of 1,540.32 yesterday.
