VIOMI Launches AI Water Purifier Inno in Malaysia, Aiming for Top Market Position

Kuala lumpur: Global smart home appliance brand VIOMI has launched its AI water purifier, Inno, with the goal of providing clean and healthy water at an affordable price to all consumers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Nasdaq-listed company announced that this launch marks its formal entry into the Malaysian market. VIOMI's founder and CEO, Kevin Chen, highlighted that with over 10 million units sold in China, Malaysia is set to become VIOMI's first strategic hub in Southeast Asia. The company aims to be among the top three water purifier brands in Malaysia within the next three to five years.

Chen stated, "Family health starts with a sip of clean water. Our goal is to make smart water technology accessible to all." The VIOMI Inno, designed with a sleek and minimalist 13-centimetre ultra-thin body and tankless structure, is now available nationwide. It fits modern kitchens perfectly and offers DIY filter replacement and an automatic self-cleaning system, enabling users to replace filters annually without additional servicing.

Chen added, "It's clean, simple, and cost-effective." The product includes a Bamboo Charcoal and Mineral Filter that effectively removes heavy metals and harmful chemicals from water. It is further enhanced by the Kunlun Ore Composite Filter technology, which mineralizes the water and enriches it with natural trace elements like Strontium, known for supporting bone strength and cardiovascular health.

"The resulting water is not only pure but also boasts a clean, subtly sweet taste, making it a trusted choice for infants, expectant mothers, and the whole family," Chen explained. Looking forward, VIOMI intends to introduce specialized filter cartridges, including those that generate weakly alkaline water, allowing users to tailor their water experience as effortlessly as updating apps on a phone.

The VIOMI Inno comes with a two-year warranty, free delivery, and installation. It features three core systems: Smart Sensors, Smart Control, and Smart Interaction, reflecting the brand's vision of promoting healthier water and smarter homes through artificial intelligence technology. VIOMI noted that Smart Sensors monitor real-time water quality, Smart Control offers five preset temperature modes, and Smart Interaction allows users to manage and monitor water data via a mobile app.
