Volkswagen Malaysia Partners PKT Logistics To Enhance Inbound, Outbound Logistics Efficiency

Batu kawan: Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VGM) has forged a partnership with PKT Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd (PKT) in an effort to further enhance its logistics efficiency in the country. In a joint statement today, the companies said the signing ceremony of the framework agreement for transportation and logistics services was held on Aug 5, 2025, at PKT's 'The Ship' campus in Batu Kawan, Penang.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the signing ceremony is viewed as a strategic milestone in VGM's journey, as emphasized by VGM managing director Dr. Susanne Lehmann. She underscored the importance of this partnership beyond mere formalization of a contract. Meanwhile, PKT's group chief executive and managing director Datuk Seri Dr. Michael Tio highlighted the company's commitment to ensuring seamless and reliable logistics operations that align with Volkswagen's regional supply chain needs.
