TSH Resources 2Q Net Profit Surges to RM49.23 Million

Kuala lumpur: TSH Resources Bhd has announced a substantial increase in its net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, reporting RM49.23 million, up from RM20.63 million during the same period last year. This growth is attributed to improved productivity and higher prices of palm products.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the oil palm plantation group's revenue also increased to RM268.77 million, compared to RM252.52 million previously. For the first half of 2025, the net profit more than doubled to RM97.42 million from RM40.70 million in the corresponding period last year, with revenue rising to RM544.10 million from RM494.90 million previously.

TSH Resources highlighted that the group registered higher revenue for 2Q FY2025, primarily due to a RM19.3 million increase in revenue from the palm products segment. The rise in revenue from this segment was largely driven by increased sales volumes of crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK), alongside a higher average selling price for PK, despite a slightly lower average selling price for CPO.

Regarding future prospects, TSH Resources expressed confidence in delivering a satisfactory full-year performance in 2025. The company cited its strong balance sheet, net cash position as of 2Q 2025, and consistent cash flow as providing a solid foundation for future growth, despite facing external challenges.

The company also noted that it is advancing with its new planting programme, which is expected to expand planted hectarage over the coming years, thereby supporting future productivity and enhancing shareholder value.
