Wanita UMNO Forms Special Committee to Advance ‘Rumah Bangsa’ Initiative

Kuala lumpur: Wanita UMNO will set up a special committee to review the detailed implementation of the 'Rumah Bangsa' concept at the wing level. Wanita UMNO chief Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad stated that the committee's primary aim is to coordinate unification initiatives and provide former members with a path to rejoin the party.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Noraini emphasized that the committee plans to follow the framework set by UMNO Malaysia as the parent body. She noted that once applications to rejoin the party are received, the matters would be referred to the central committee led by Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin. Noraini conveyed this information to reporters after a breaking of fast event.

Noraini, who also serves as the Minister of Plantation and Commodities, provided these insights when asked about the women's wing's reception of the 'Rumah Bangsa' initiative. She mentioned that former Wanita UMNO members have already initiated discussions and have submitted applications to rejoin the party's mission.

However, she clarified that the committee is still evaluating the situation and has not reached a final decision yet.
