Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in several areas in Kelantan, Sarawak, and Sabah until 7 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the warning was issued at 3.45 pm. In Kelantan, the areas expected to be affected are Jeli and Gua Musang.

In Sarawak, the forecast includes areas such as Sibu, Sarikei, Bintulu (Tatau), Mukah (Tanjung Manis), and Kapit (Belaga).

The warning extends to Sabah, covering regions like Sandakan (Labuk, Sugut, and Paitan), the Interior (Sook and Keningau), and Tawau (Lahad Datu).
