Watsons Malaysia Launches Record-Breaking Rewards Campaign


Kuala Lumpur: Watsons Malaysia has unveiled its Biggest Rewards in Malaysia campaign to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Watsons Club, the country’s most extensive loyalty programme. This initiative marks a significant milestone for the brand, highlighting its commitment to customer engagement and innovative rewards.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, Caryn Loh, the managing director and Health and Beauty Asia, AS Watson Group chief operating officer, announced that Watsons Malaysia has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for having the ‘Most Merchant Touchpoints in a Membership Reward Programme’. This achievement underscores Watsons’ dedication to providing value and fostering meaningful connections with its members.



“As the No 1 Health and Beauty retailer, Watsons aims to engage with our members nationwide. We are committed to leading and strengthening the country’s loyalty programs by offering enhanced rewards and benefits. The continued growth of our member base reflects the trust and engagement we’ve built with Malaysians nationwide. We are also committed to innovating our rewards ecosystem, enhancing customer experiences, and driving even greater value for every member,” Loh stated in a press release.



The brand has upgraded its W Rewards programme, allowing Watson Club members access to over 5,000 merchant touchpoints nationwide. Members can redeem more than 100 exclusive partner vouchers starting from as low as 10 points through the Watsons app. The deals include offers from popular brands like Sunway Lagoon Malaysia, Zus Coffee, Bananabro, Grab Food, Village Grocer, and LBS.



Watsons encourages members to experience the ‘App-rything’ on the Watsons MY App. The app functions as a comprehensive hub for loyalty, rewards, and exclusive deals, offering app-clusive offers, access to the W Rewards program, and participation in the e-Stamp Rewards. Members earn e-Stamps with every purchase of RM40 or more, which can be redeemed for exclusive products and benefits.



Loh also invited all Malaysians to join the Watsons Club loyalty programme, highlighting that the membership comes with perks such as free membership. “Sign up as a Watsons Club member for just RM25 and receive a membership card with Touch ‘n Go NFC functionality along with 1,000 welcome points upon activation, making it easier than ever to shop, save, and earn rewards,” she added.



In addition to daily rewards, Watsons announced an exclusive holiday giveaway, offering 10 lucky Watsons Club Members a chance to win a pair of 6-day 4-night trips to Seoul. Members need to spend RM120 and above on participating brands to enter the draw.
